Abstract The article proposes an original approach to the protection of forestry machines from overloads when using a friction material made pressed wood. use compressed wood is environmentally important aspect in manufacture materials for safety devices machines. This contributes development green technologies engineering and ensures increase environmental friendliness logging operations. However, point view, self-ignition must be avoided. definition transmitted adjusting torque relation frictional clutch considered. It noted that device slips, will wear out unevenly, form wedge, if working width contacting surfaces large.
